    Is Invisalign® For Me?

Invisalign® Go differs slightly from Invisalign Full. It is a shorter treatment programme suitable for minor imperfections and simple cases. Treatment is designed to be completed with up to 20 aligners compared to full Invisalign which is better suited for more complex cases as more aligners can be used.

At your assessment we will first make sure you have healthy teeth and gums and then check if you are suitable for Invisalign®.

    How Does Invisalign® Work?

Invisalign® is a clear aligner system where each aligner gently pushes the teeth into the desired position. The aligners are virtually invisible and completely removable. This makes them a very discreet choice as you are able to remove them for eating and drinking!

After a full assessment the dentist will be able to tell you how many aligners are needed to achieve the smile you want. You will change your aligners every 1-2 weeks and have a review with your dentist every 4 weeks.

    Is Invisalign® Uncomfortable?

A little discomfort is common with any type of brace. This is usually experienced in the first few days of Invisalign treatment and every time you switch to a new aligner. This is because your teeth are moving into a new position and whenever you insert a new aligner, you are shifting your teeth just a little bit more into a new position.
